It is based on field demands, and current trends show a significant amount of attention on legal and medical interpreters and translations. Consequently, the average cost to build design and implement a single language-specific test within the subject matter expertise is over $100,000. Particularly, for this reason, there are only a handful of languages certified by specific language in medical and legal fields for interpreters.
Firstly, Accreditation… Then, Certification. Or even, Licensed. What about Professional? As well as, Qualified? And then there is, Language Skilled. Besides all those, don’t forget Screened, Trained or Evaluated.
