What Language is Spoken in Qatar? American Translation Partners created the Language Locator for our visitors that want to find out what language is spoken and written in any specific country around the world. Above all, we hope you find the Language Locator search tool useful. But certainly, feel free to make suggestions on how to improve this search tool. And most importantly, let us know what to update for content within a country. For example, if you have new insights about the spoken languages, written languages, population, flags we have listed. That’s very useful information we want to know and share with our customers.
Future plans
In the future, we plan to expand the development of the Language Locator to include voice recognition. To begin with, we’d like to create a matrix to be able to verify the spoken or written language of an individual. This part of the search tool will empower first responders and other Law Enforcement Officers (LEO). They’ll have a way to quickly ascertain the Limited English Proficient (LEP) speaker’s language.
Secondly, we have is to incorporate information about languages that are endangered. As well as adding those historical languages no longer in use. Collectively, this type of information is sure to prove resourceful as a feature for linguists.
Lastly, we will attempt to make alternate map versions of endonyms. An endonym is a name for a place, site or location in the language of the people who live there. This will help LEP speakers find their home. And in turn, help the English speakers trying to communicate with them. Finally, we thank you very much for your time and consideration.
